Quick Pics: Napa
A few pictures from Napa, downloaded freshly on MY NEW COMPUTER!! Wooo!
An absolutely gorgeous morning, viewed from our inn balcony.
They woke us each morning. Louder than roosters.
Our first foray: Copia. Surprisingly fun place.
The entry fountain by the gardens of Copia. You can spend a lot of time just in the gardens . . .
And I did. Here's somerosemarylavender with grapevine buds.
But wonderful flowers are to be seen everywhere. These were at Frog's Leap winery.
Quick shot of Napa town street.
The impressive Darioush. I'm waiting for their Viognier release for this year.More later, I hope.

Napa town street looks like Gainesville downtown, where the tex-mex restaurant Ernesto's used to be. Lots of the old towns across America have a sameness to them, especially if they have been "brought back" to their original state, which usually means "as we wish it were" not as it actually was. In most cases the "as we wish it were" is definitely an improvement as it is meant to appeal to current standards of beauty. Having said that It is very attractive and picturesque. Pictures are lovely. Post more!
Congratulations on new CP...how do you like Vista?
Cool pics - I want to take Hal to Copia this summer. The Napa Outlet Center is great, too.
ewww... Vista, really?
hey - have you been watching the new episodes from THREE ?
Vista's actually okay. Since I've got 4 GB RAM, I couldn't get any other MS platform, since they don't recognize resources beyond 2 GB currently. Even so, Vista's bugged and only "sees" 2.5 GB of my RAM. All in all, though, I'm not at all unhappy with it.
And of COURSE I've been watching season three! Have YOU?
