Germs!!!! From Yahoo News. But where do they actually lie, is the question? I had to print this silly, uninformative graph. Another USA Today triumph of non-information.

HEAR ME NOW GERMS! Prepare yourselves for DESTRUCTION!!
(sigh....)
it's depressing to constantly realize that the only paper to make dynamic use of my field to convey information, doesn't actually convey information.
sometimes I think graphic designers should be banned
The answer to the question of germs last I heard was in fact the telephone on your desk, followed by the desktop itself. Third and fourth places seemed to vary between studies, some claiming the keyboard and the the mouse, while others found the water fountain handle and the microwave handle in office kitchen areas the next most guilty.
All studies found people's desks to be far and away containing more germs than the average office bathroom, or any other area of the office. Makes sense, we spend more time there sneezing and sniffling away.
Actually the fax machine button was found to have three times the germs as the average bathroom.
